The Steads

We are third generation maple syrup producers located in the beautiful Lanark Highlands of Eastern Ontario. Ours is a traditional style sugar camp with stainless steel equipment and a wood fired evaporator.

We produce maple syrup of the highest quality, and it is available for purchase year round: in season right at the sugar camp and all year long at our farm on Wolf Grove Road around the corner and a short distance away from the sugar camp.

All grades of maple syrup come in sizes from 500 ml to 4L, and we also produce excellent maple butter and candy.

The sugar camp is located midway between Perth and Calabogie, and we are easy to find. From Perth, just take highway 511 to Hopetown. From Ottawa, take highway 417 and exit at 155 to Almonte, then follow the Wolf Grove Road to Hopetown and look for our sign.
